Yesterday, at a free concert on the lawn of the Minnesota state capitol, word spread like wildfire that Rage Against the Machine would pop up to do a set, which they in fact had every intention of doing until the cops (of course) put the kibosh on the whole idea. (Even though there was a legal permit that gave them time to play)
The crowd got pissed, of course, but Zach de la Rocha and Tom Morello grabbed a megaphone and did an A cappella version of "Bulls on Parade." Then they led the crowd on a march to the Republican National Convention. Awesome.
I love these guys.
